TERMS AND CONDITIONS (UPDATED 2026)

INTRODUCTION
To help you get the best out of Lark Dance Studio and to understand our responsibilities to you and
your responsibilities to us, please read the following terms carefully. These policies safeguard the
wellbeing of our pupils and ensure high quality teaching.

1. PAYMENTS AND FEES
(All original clauses retained)
Monthly subscription required via Class4Kids.
Fees reviewed annually and are non-refundable.
Late payment fee applies.
Annual membership fee applies.
Payments taken on 1st of each month.

2. CANCELLATION
One month written notice required.
Classes unattended are still payable.
Classes with low numbers may be cancelled.

3. CLOTHING
Uniform required.
No jewellery for safety.
Hair must be neat.
Performance participation may require additional fees.

4. CLASSES AND PERFORMANCES
High standards of behaviour expected.
Phones not permitted.
No liability for lost belongings.
Children must be collected by parent/guardian.
Late collection must be communicated.

5. DISCIPLINE

Anti-bullying policy in place.
Respect expected from students and parents.
Persistent behaviour issues may result in removal.

6. GENERAL
Medical conditions must be disclosed.
Communication via email/social media.
Physical contact may be required for teaching purposes.
Events are optional.

7. SAFEGUARDING
Lark Dance Studio is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children. All staff
hold Enhanced DBS checks and follow safeguarding procedures.

8. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA
Photos/videos may be taken for promotional purposes with consent and handled responsibly.

9. HEALTH & SAFETY / LIABILITY
All reasonable care is taken. Participation carries risk. Liability is not accepted unless due to
negligence.

10. DROP OFF & COLLECTION
Parents are responsible outside class times. Children will not be released without a parent unless
agreed.

11. DATA PROTECTION (GDPR)
All personal data is stored and processed securely in line with GDPR.

12. ILLNESS
Children should not attend if unwell or contagious.

13. FORCE MAJEURE
We are not liable for cancellations beyond our control.

14. SUPERVISION

During classes children are supervised by staff. At events, responsibility is shared with parents
unless stated otherwise.
